Colors To Go

Halfway through painting the interior of this house I discovered a "little something" that would have saved me a lot of money in the wasted paint department!  Sherwin Williams has Colors To Go, a quart of satin paint that is only $5 and can really help you decide on a color before you spend $30 on a gallon of paint.  AND if you decide to use a color in a flat finish, you can use the conveniently handled Colors To Go container for doing the trimwork!  Sherwin Williams can do any Benjamin Moore color and I'm sure Behr too.  They know me so well over there that I just call and ask them to have the Colors To Go ready for me to pick up so I can just run in!

As the sole painter in the home I also discovered that SW and BM do have better quality paint and the application time and effort is much easier.  So if your budget allows then splurge on the good stuff.  You will thank yourself later!

Amen to that sista! Cher, I'm so glad I found your blog (care of Val). How are you guys? I think the last time we saw Jon was at Laurel & Troy's reception and you had just had Noah. I had no idea you guys were in Seattle now. We loved our 15 months in Olympia and miss so many things about living there. I love your blog, btw, I too have discovered my knack for interior design and painted our whole house with SW paint. They had no problems matching colors from other companies for us. I love your business idea, I hope you are successful with it. Your kids are adorable and so grown up. It's nice to see what you guys are up to.
