Seattle is teeming with amazing people. Everyone is so nice and I've met many wonderful people here, one of whom is this totally cute mom I met at the bus stop. Her name is Frida (see Halloween post, she's the Orbitz girl!) and she is just like sunshine! We hit it off pretty quick and I've decided we are going to be great friends, because right now I need her and she needs me and it's great to be needed, yes? So as well as being a darling mom/friend/artist/gal she is a graphic designer that designs music posters (again, among other things). I mentioned to her that I like Wilco (thank you Kris for keeping your old sis' kinda cool!) and so she decided to drop a little something to me the other day. What do you think? This poster is going in a frame and right onto my art wall!

I remember Friday, she was lovely ... I remember her from the bus stop and her son plays the strings as I recall... isn't it fun to find a friend, even at a bus stop?!

I am stopping over from Amanda's blog, she recommended me going through your whole blog (she is a big fan) and I have to say, I love wilco. I even did a post about it a couple of weeks ago - they are just happy music, even when they aren't. I am enjoying your blog, can't wait to read more. Oh, and I want that poster!
