I have a thing for bubbles. Bubbles in drinks to be exact. The bubbles calm me down. It's weird, I know. I love carbonation but I don't love calories. So while I would love to say that my metabolism is that of Lance Armstrongs so I can drink Izzes to my heart's content, I don't. So I can't. What is a girl to do?
I turned to d.c. as we like to call it in our house. I've had my fair share of this chemically enhanced drink and I know it's no good. So I've changed my ways and switched to sparkling water with a squeeze of lemon or lime. I go through a bottle a day, no kidding. Luckily I found a box of 12 Pellegrinos at Costco for a mere $13. A small price to pay for a now healthy addiction.

My mom also buys this by the box from Costco because my dad is addicted to it. He will sit on the couch in the evening when he watches some TV and drink a whole bottle, straight from the bottle. I like it too. I also have some whenever I'm home.
Whoops, that was me, Sarah. Jeff must have forgotten to log out.
Good for you! I'll have to try it. I'm a water person but every once in a while I like bubbly.
Hi Cher,
My husband and I just made the exact same switch! Sometimes I put a little cucumber in a glass of sparkling water and it is deelish! Mairead (Amy Dover's friend)
Not a big fan, but I know my sister-in-law likes it too....she also loves the d.c.
Yep, been addicted to P. for a year and a half. Love love love it. And thank heavens for the 12 pack at Costco!
xoxo
This is exactly what I drink everyday at work...well when I am in the office that is. We keep a stash of it in the storage closet. My goal is a bottle a day; an easy goal with such a feeling of accomplishment! We go to COSTCO as well.
