I can't help but get a little excited every time I walk into Costco, even if it's several times in one week. Here's how Costco solved one of my dilemnas:
It rains in Seattle. Did you know that? Anyway, I have been spending hours at soccer fields on weeknights and Saturdays and my pants get wet around the bottoms. Then I come home and take off my shoes and have wet pants hanging all over my cold feet. I don't like that. So I've been searching for the perfect rainboots. I want them to come up to my knees so I can tuck in my bootcut jeans without it looking sloppy. I've tried EVERYWHERE. Target had some for a steal but they came up to mid-calf and cut me off in a weird spot. Same story for every other place I tried. Now remember it rains here and we plan on living here for a long time so I need a really good pair, but given my new-found thriftiness I need a good deal. Sigh.
Costco Solution: Offer HUNTER Wellies for half the retail price. They had black and the traditional green (I was tempted but went with the black). The boots are lined, come up to my knees, have a cincher at the top for a tight fit and have a little room inside for welly-warmers so I can wear them as winter boots. Did I mention they are made in Scotland?

You sound so British! ("Wellies") I think they customize their stores for each area. I still like Sam's Club for some things, but I agree that Costco is awesome! Now if I could just get out of there without paying $300-400 each time!!
