Ella and Will were helping me with dinner the other night and Ella's eyes were stinging from the onions so she put on gloves and sunglasses to help. Onions always make me cry!

Ella, another trick for the onion tears - not as funky, nevertheless more effective is to just burn a candle by the side of the onion you are chopping... it burns off the onions vapors. I know... I am a fount of ridiculous info!!!
I have never heard of that trick with the onions before Mary-Anne! I will certainly try that next time I start crying. Slicing onions of course!
