A few weeks ago Lynley came over with Kaite, Addy and Eli and I pulled Ella and Will out of school early so we could paint the town together. I grabbed cupcakes at Cupcake Royale and then we headed to Carkeek Park to play until the sun went down. We saw a train go by and played on the beach. After we headed to Dick's, a Seattle favorite, for hamburgers, onion rings and shakes. Let's just say that Lynley and I got the "Best Mom of the Day" award.
