That is how I am feeling about blogging lately! We are in full swing again with house projects and the kids are busy in school and blah blah blah. I'll give a little update on the kiddies and then post some pictures from our latest visitors/adventures. Ella is loving 2nd grade and makes "new friends" everyday. There are 25 or so kids in her class this year compared to 9 last year so it's understandable that it is taking a while to get to know each one. We had a back to school night on Tuesday for parents and it was wonderful to see all of the different cultures of the kids in their classes. Many of the women covered, there were people from all nationalities and we think it will be a great environment for the kids since we will be a multi-cultural family soon too! She is doing soccer, the Seattle Children's Chorus and piano lessons. She is trying so many new things and we are just so excited to see what she is really passionate about.
Will is in PM Kindergarten and actually knows the names of some of the kids in his class, which is unusual for him! He and Ella ride the bus (no drama there, sorry Rehrer) and Will even gets on the afternoon kindy bus without any drama. I guess he sits by a kid and they talk about Star Wars or something. He is also doing soccer and scored 7 goals at his last game. Not surprising since he was at least a head taller than any of the kids on the other team. He's probably one of the tallest in his class for sure. I am doing lessons with him every day to teach him to read and it makes him feel important. I think he likes the one on one time with mommy. He's just a good kid and loves rough housing with his brother, although Noah doesn't always love it!
Noah is a little spitfire. He is a sweet kid but lets you know what he wants when he wants it. He barely learned to say "mum" and mostly just points and says "uh". He loves making animal sounds and does a kitty, lion, elephant and dog pretty well. He loves being a big kid and using a fork and drinking from a big cup like his brother and sister. I found him crawling around today and panting like a dog so he is using his imagination too. He loves water and playing in the dirt in our yard which we hope to remedy next summer!
As for the adoption we are still on the waiting list and just waiting waiting for this little girl to join our family. We've had to do more paperwork to keep things updated but we couldn't be more excited to meet her. Hopefully soon!
The following pics are of my dad and Mary-Anne visiting ( those pics of them on the beach is Richmond Beach, the one right by our house! ) and then Emily P. coming into town. See her blog on the list on the left under Emily Price for a detailed account of our weekend together. Pure heaven I must say. Thank you all for coming to visit us!

Looks like I have Ella and Will in a vice grip - lol!!! We sure do love our time with 'em!
Will is holding up 7 because that is how many goals he scored. By far the largest total of any on the team. I know...I know...there was no goalie but he still put on a great display!
Loved the wild blackberries to munch on as well.
What a charming place to live and raise a family.
